Angie Golley
Resident Owner / Trainer and Advanced Riding Instructor

Angie Golley is the owner/operator of Extreme Stables and head trainer. Angie is a graduate of the Olds College Equine Science Program and upon graduation, worked at the Beckwith Veterinary Clinic and Dressage Center for five years. During that time, she was instructed by Betty Seidel (nee:Briggs) and also had the opportunity of spending five weeks of riding and training in Hoya, Germany with Hans Heinrich Meyer zu Strohen. Angie spent 4 months in 2006/2007 working and riding with Tom Dvorak, member of the 2007 Canadian Team at the Pan American Games.

Angie has started numerous young horses and has a wonderful reputation of dealing with difficult horses, both young and old. She competes on the recognized dressage circuit showing horses she owns and ones she is training.

Jamie Hoffman
Beginner Riding Instructor

Jamie Hoffman is a full time coach at Extreme Stables. Her specialty is working with young riders with little or no experience, teaching them the basics of horsemanship and focusing on the importance of safety at all times. She loves to encourage and facilitate the special bonds that occur between horse and rider to form lifelong respect, friendship and recreation from their equine friend.

Jamie is married to Terry Hoffman and they have two girls, Mikayla age 18 and Mackenzie age 16. Jamie also owns/ manages/operates Extreme Tack located in the yard at Extreme Stables

Leah Breakey
Jumping Lessons Instructor

Leah Breakey is a competitive eventer for over a decade, has spent the last six years travelling North America developing her professional career in the horse industry. Leah runs Master Key Eventing, a horse training, breeding and teaching business. Through the help of great owners, and a family breeding program, Leah has developed a strong team of horses to continue to be competitive at the national & international level. An accomplished 4 star rider with top placings on the western North America circuit including Rebecca Farms (Kalispell, MT), Galway Downs (Temecula, CA), Alhambra Stables (Red Deer, AB) and South Peace (Grande Prairie, AB).
