Jamie Hoffman
Beginner Riding Instructor
Jamie Hoffman is joining her sister, Angie Golley, as a riding instructor at Extreme Stables. Her
specialty is working with young riders with little or no experience, teaching them the basics of horsemanship
and focusing on the importance of safety at all times. She loves to encourage and facilitate the special bonds
that occur between horse and rider to form lifelong respect, friendship and recreation from their equine friend.
Jamie has been riding since the age of 7 and loved to compete in English, western and jumping throughout
Alberta. She is currently learning the world of dressage on her new mount Smokie. For the past 11 years she
has been coaching beginner riders at her home and was the Level 1-3 coach for the Silver Valley 4-H Riders
for eight years. She is currently working on her Level One Coaching Certificate.
Jamie is married to Terry Hoffman and they have two girls, Mikayla age 4 and Mackenzie age 2. Jamie
also works part time at the Centennial Center for Brain Injury and Mental Health as a Recreation Therapy
Aide. Currently she is busy preparing the opening of Extreme Tack to be located at Extreme Stables.
